You want to grow 10,000 followers on Instagram organically without spending a single time. We’re going to look at how you can do this with the 502 Instagram growth strategy.
Most of you have probably heard about a similar strategy called the dollar and 80 cent strategy by Gary Vee, but the way he explains it is honestly terrible, it’s not effective for growth. If you’re going to use any of them it should be the 502 Strategy because it’s just so much more effective for growing followers organically on Instagram. There are two ways to go about this:
The First Way (Gary Vee Strategy)
Gary teaches it is simply to do this go to the top nine ranked posts in ten different hashtags and leave a like and leave a comment.
But the question is, can you spot why this is stupid and won’t grow followers because the owner of that piece of content ranked in the top nine hashtags has so many followers and so much engagement that they’re never going to notice you ever. So what do you do instead?
The Second Way (502 Strategy)
You follow the blueprint of the 502 Strategy you find 50 randomly picked posts from both hashtags and from the explore page within your niche with little to no engagement at all. Once you find post, you leave two forms of engagement which is like and the comment.
Now you might be wondering why specifically 50, because of liking and commenting on more than 50 pieces of content within a short amount of time, It might result in looking like spammy behavior to the Instagram algorithm. This is definitely not something we want to happen because this will put in a comment block or a like block and it will have a negative effect on your health score. At the same time, it’s much more manageable and it will bring results. How do we do this?
The key to this entire strategy is to entice people into wanting to check out your profile and then end up following you I mean that’s the goal we want to grow followers. Find a niche account, leave a comment that is enticing actually making that person who gets the comment actually wanting to check out your profile and then go over the comment afterward and break it down and mentioned that I checked out your page and I am also a professional in the same niche.
First of all, it seems like a very natural comment and it does not look like there was actually a bot making this comment. Secondly, you mentioned that I checked out his page which might entice him to actually want it to check out my page. Third, say that you’re yourself just like him some relating to him and when you’re relating to him he might be enticed to actually wanting to check out what you’ve done what to content you’ve created how my shots are if you’re actually good at creating content yourself. Then, you finally mentioned that I gave him a follow because I really appreciate it and like the content that he posted which he might find very nice him. He might be really excited about that and feel thankful. So he might very likely end up checking out your page and then giving you a follow as well, because you gave him a follow, that I also recommend you to do is actually go to all these 50 people that you’re engaging with go to their page and just like some of their other pictures as well because it’s just going to help with that overall impression that you’re giving them when you’re engaging with them.
And if you say of course in the comment that you gave them a follow make sure you actually do give them a follow because this also gives you the opportunity to follow up and yeah at any later stage you can just unfollow them again.
